 Zach started his service career in the U.S.A.F. as a Combat Controller at the 22nd Special Tactics Squadron in Tacoma, WA. He attended the University of Nebraska studying Criminal Justice, and joined the Oklahoma City Fire Department in 2004. Currently he is a Major at Station 15 on the C (green) shift. Over the years, Zach has obtained a list of skills which include Paramedic, Rescue Diver, Rope & Swiftwater Technician, Fire & EMS Instructor. Zach was given the honor of serving as the Field Training Officer for his department’s Recruit Academy in early 2017. He is a contstant student of his career field and is currently finishing his Bachelors in Fire Administration. Zach has been married for thirteen years to his beautiful bride Kristan. Together they have three energetic young children Gavin, Lucy and Penelope. Giving back is the way forward for himself and his family.
