Jensen has been a dedicated Firefighter/EMT for the City of Bartlett Fire Department, a suburb of Memphis, since 2006. He is the devoted husband of his high school sweetheart, Brooke, and a gloating father of four boys. His deep passion for the fire service began as a small child, hearing stories from family members who served before him. Jensen is always willing to serve in any capacity needed, whether it’s competing in stair climbs across the country, or serving with Bartlett SORT (Special Operation Rescue Team).

While fighting a house fire in April of 2012, Jensen sustained burns to his ears, shoulders, hands, and leg. These injuries opened his eyes to the potential for new advances in preventive practices. He recognized the need to promote general awareness and protocol development within the fire service, as well the need to inspire a broader focus on research and development for burn treatment and support.

Jensen maintains a great respect for the proud heritage of the fire service, as well as for the extended family that includes all military and paramilitary servants who protect our nation and its citizens. As the Tennessee Team Leader, he is committed to the honorable mission of Sons of the Flag and is grateful for the opportunity to do all he can to advance their cause.
