The Direct Burn Survivor Support Program provides immediate, targeted financial assistance to burn survivors and families facing economic hardship during treatment and recovery. Support is offered to approved applicants based on demonstrated need and is designed to remove critical barriers that can delay healing. Beyond the Burn Foundation helps cover urgent essentials such as transportation to medical appointments, temporary housing, utilities, food, and recovery-related supplies. This focused support stabilizes families at their most vulnerable so survivors can concentrate on recovery.

For pediatric cases, assistance is provided through a parent or guardian and prioritizes both emotional well-being and a return to normalcy. Approved requests may include travel for specialized care or burn camps, school-related technology, and comfort items that support a child’s development. From families impacted by house fires to veterans and first responders injured in service, the program fills specific gaps left by insurance and existing systems. Each dollar is deployed with intention, ensuring support reaches those with the greatest need and the clearest path to impact.
